By booking this service, you agree to the following terms regarding your $30.00 deposit and scheduled pickup:
Initial Payment: A $30.00 deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Credit: This $30.00 is not an extra fee; it is a prepayment that will be fully credited toward your total ride fare.
The Remainder: The final balance (based on distance/time) will be settled at the end of your trip via the card on file or cash.
Early Cancellation (More than 60 minutes notice): You are entitled to a refund. To cover non-refundable merchant processing costs, a $1.30 administrative fee will be deducted. You will receive a net refund of $28.70.
Late Cancellation (Less than 60 minutes notice): If you cancel within one hour of your scheduled pickup, the $30.00 deposit is forfeited to cover the driver's scheduled time and lost opportunity.
Wait Time: Your driver will wait at the designated pickup location for a maximum of 15 minutes past your scheduled time.
Forfeiture: If you have not arrived at the vehicle or contacted the driver within this 15-minute window, the ride will be marked as a "No-Show." The reservation will be cancelled, and the $30.00 deposit will be forfeited.
You authorize Sober Chauffeur to securely store your payment method. You agree that any remaining balance for the completed service may be charged to the card on file unless another payment method is provided at the time of the ride.
